The National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAEs) are hosting a FREE Virtual Career Fair, sponsored by CyberWatch West and the National Science Foundation, on October 13, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EST).

This Virtual Career Fair will provide an opportunity for employers to recruit students (internships, part time, full time, etc.) from colleges and universities in the CAE Program. Students from CAE designated institutions are highly skilled and qualified, specializing in a plethora of different skill sets from penetration tester to a network administrator.

The first-ever, government-wide, IT and cybersecurity federal hiring event will be held November 6th to 7th at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring, Maryland. There are currently more than twenty federal agencies including four intelligence organizations (FBI, CIA, NSA, and NGA) working collaboratively to recruit, interview, and hire for hundreds of IT and cybersecurity positions.

CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service Career Fairs

If you currently receive the CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service (SFS) or are a government hiring manager, you can benefit from two upcoming events:

  1. The SFS Virtual Career Fair, October 19, 2017
  2. The SFS in-person Career Fair, January 10-12, 2018

The SFS Program provides scholarships to students for cybersecurity-related degree programs at select two- and four-year colleges and universities. In return, students receiving SFS awards agree to serve in Federal, State, local, tribal, or territorial governments upon graduation for a period equivalent to the length of their scholarship.
