SECCDC 2016 - Winners Announced!
On behalf of the SECCDC Gold Team, I am proud to announce the results from the 2016 Regional Competition. We had eight teams of talented students from the following institutions engaged head to head over 15 hours of grueling competition. The final scores were extremely close.

Wilmington University hosts 5th annual DigiGirlz Day - Forensic Track sponsored by CISSE
On Wednesday, May 6, Wilmington University's Doberstein Admissions Center auditorium hosted one hundred and fifty 8th and 9th grade girls for the 5th annual DigiGirlz Day. This Microsoft-sponsored day of discovery featured a keynote address by Delaware's First Lady, Carla Markell and Transportation Cabinet Secretary, Jennifer Cohan.

8 STEM Websites To Excite Kids About Tech
InformationWeek - This week is Computer Science Education Week, which President Obama kicked off Monday with an Hour of Code at the White House and related announcements, such as a $20 million philanthropic commitment to train 25,000 new computer science teachers for US schools by fall 2016. Of course, the hour of code is somewhat symbolic -- sure, we've all got to start somewhere, but learning will require a longer term approach.

Awards Ceremony for the 2014 Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. Congrats to the University of Central Florida team that went on to win the Nationals competition!
The Colloquium recognizes that the protection of information and infrastructures that are used to create, store, process, and communicate information is vital to business continuity and security. The Colloquium's goal is to work together to define current and emerging requirements for information assurance education and to influence and encourage the development and expansion of information assurance curricula, especially at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
