Robert P. Liscouski Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection Mr. Liscouski is the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Infrastructure Protection, having assumed the post in March 2003. He is responsible for the Department's efforts to identify our critical infrastructures and propose protective measures to keep them safe from terrorist attacks. Prior to returning to government service, he was the Director of Information Assurance for The Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Liscouski was a member of the Director of Central Intelligence Science Board, a board comprised of industry representatives providing consultation and analysis on scientific, technical and engineering matters to the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) and to the senior leadership of the Intelligence Community. Mr. Liscouski's private sector experience includes six years with ORION Scientific Systems, where he served as a Vice-President for the Law Enforcement Division, developing and integrating software for the civilian intelligence community. Mr. Liscouski was also the founder and CEO of PoliTech Research, Inc., a firm providing open source research and business intelligence services to Fortune 500 firms. Mr. Liscouski's government experience includes 11 years with the Diplomatic Security Service of the US Department of State and five years criminal investigative experience as a homicide and narcotics investigator in Bergen County, NJ. Mr. Liscouski received his BS degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, and his Masters of Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
