Dr. Charles (Pat) Reynolds is the Interim Dean of the College of Integrated Science and Technology at James Madison University. The CISAT college includes 120 faculty and 2800 students spanning academic programs including information systems, information security, computer science, telecommunications, manufacturing, environmental and energy and biotechnology. From 1992-1998 Dr. Reynolds was the Director of the Department of Computer Science at JMU. During this period enrollment grew from 150 to 500 students. As the Director of the CRISSE (Center for Research in Information Systems Security Education) and the Information Security Program Dr. Reynolds was instrumental in JMU receiving recognition from the federal government as a National Center of Excellence in Information Assurance Education. The Information Security Program is the first remote Internet-based curriculum at JMU and leads to a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Information Security. Dr. Reynolds received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
