Founded in 1996 as the National Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education, the Colloquium has become the leading proponent for implementing courses of instruction in INFOSEC in education.

In June 2002, the NCISSE expanded its mission to include a greater international participation. To reflect this the organization formally changed its name to The Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education or more simply  -- The Colloquium

Konrad Vesey

 

Konrad Vesey, Director of the Center for Assured Software, Department of Defense

Mr. Vesey is the Director of the Center for Assured Software and is responsible for developing and assessing evaluation technology to address the need for software assurance within the Department of Defense. Mr. Vesey has a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland at College Park and started his career at NSA as a cryptologic mathematician. Prior to joining the Center for Assured Software, Mr. Vesey led software evaluation teams within NSA that looked at security properties of commercial and GOTS products..
