Founded in 1996 as the National Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education, the Colloquium has become the leading proponent for implementing courses of instruction in INFOSEC in education.

In June 2002, the NCISSE expanded its mission to include a greater international participation. To reflect this the organization formally changed its name to The Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education or more simply  -- The Colloquium

Jeff Reich

Jeff Reich, CSO – Rackspace Hosting

Jeff returned home to Texas to serve as Chief Security Officer for Rackspace where he leads the Risk Management, Security, Compliance and Insurance programs. Prior to joining Rackspace, Jeff created the Information Security Officer position at CompuCredit in Atlanta and was responsible for Information Security and Controls functions there and at other companies such as Dell, CheckFree and Interland. This includes directing the Corporate Information Protection, Network and System Security, Abuse Management, Policy Enforcement, Vulnerability Assessments, Policies and Business Continuity Planning.

Jeff graduated from Westfield State College with a degree in Education and holds CISSP certification, CHS-III designation and has held many offices with many honors in organizations such as the Information Systems Security Association and InfraGard.

Jeff is also a contributing columnist for SC Magazine. Beginning with the inaugural issue, in November 2005, Jeff was a regular columnist for and Chair of the OptimalSecurity Magazine Editorial Advisory Board.
