Founded in 1996 as the National Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education, the Colloquium has become the leading proponent for implementing courses of instruction in INFOSEC in education.

In June 2002, the NCISSE expanded its mission to include a greater international participation. To reflect this the organization formally changed its name to The Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education or more simply  -- The Colloquium.

General Information
The Colloquium has contracted with The Hyatt Regency North Dallas (formerly the Richardson Hotel) to provide our attendees with guest accommodations.  The rate for a standard room is $99.00 per night plus tax.  For a superior room on the Concierge level (without hotel meals), a rate of $159.00 per night plus tax has been negotiated. The current tax rate is currently 13%.   Both group rates will be honored three (3) days both prior to and following the conference for those wishing to stay in the area longer.

NOTE: Deadline for hotel reservations at the conference rate is May 11th. After May 11th, room reservations will only be made on a space-available bases at the general, non-conference rate.

Reservations
For reservations, call the Hyatt Regency North Dallas directly at (972) 231-9600  or at their toll-free number, 866-593-6300 and ask for in-house reservations.  You will be asked to provide your name, home or business address, email address, requested type of room (e.g., king, double or suite), check-in and check-out dates, preference for smoking/non-smoking room, and a credit card to hold the reservation.

Cancellations
Please note: Your credit card will be charged the equivalent of one night's lodging if you fail to show up and do not cancel your reservation.
