Each year the Colloquium honors those who have made substantial contributions to the field of information systems security education. Recipients fall into one of three categories: government, industry, and academia. Nominations come from the community, and are vetted and approved by the Colloquium Board of Directors. If a director is nominated he/she is recused from the voting. In the nomination, the person presenting the nominee must provide ample evidence that the individual has made substantial contribution to the field.
