
Valencia College operates six campuses and centers in the Orlando area, offering both credit and continuing education programs. The college has been ranked the top producer of associate degrees in the nation. Valencia was founded in 1967 as Valencia Junior College, renamed in 1972 as Valencia Community College, and in 2011 became Valencia College with the introduction of Bachelor degree programs. The college serves more than 70,000 students per year, with over 80,000 students having earned degrees at Valencia since its founding.
Valencia offers an Associate in Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology (Networking) with a specialization in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. The program offers various courses in Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Network security, and Computer Forensics with focus on hands-on training and cyber defense exercises. The National Security Agency has recognized Valencia‘s program for meeting the 4011 standards for Information Security Professionals (INFOSEC) and the 4013 standard for Systems Administrators. Valencia has made Cybersecurity training and awareness a strategic initiative, investing in extensive community outreach efforts and offering an array of forums, workshops, and Tech Camps to serve the community.
This year, our Monday schedule contains not only the CAE Recognition Ceremony and Colloquium Awards Luncheon, but also an evening outing to Epcot for their nighttime IllumiNations (i.e., massive fireworks).

CyberWatch is an Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Center, headquartered atPrince George’s Community College and funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The CyberWatch mission is to increase the quantity and quality of the information assurance (that is, cybersecurity) workforce.
Davenport University offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in information assurance. The Bachelor of Science in Security and Information Assurance provides the proactive and reactive knowledge and skills that encompass securing a technological environment.
